Project Scope

The work required to produce a computer model for the prediction of drug toxicity entails many areas of study. The first step is data collection. As the performance of the model relies on the data used to build it, data curation is critical. Databases with information of past experiments are available for the purpose of computer model production. The next step is creating of the model. With several existing methods to build a computer model, we will study, select, and apply one in our project. Once the model is built, it must be evaluated. Machine learning has recently been involved in drug viability prediction and we hope to apply it to our research.
